Wanda Landowskas verschwundene Instrumente
Walter Zimmermann - Berlin, 1998/2002

Deborah Richards performed the music on a Hammerklavier and MIDI Harpsichord. Hanns Zischler read the list of confiscated instruments. Nanne Meyer made drawings of keyboard-playing hands. Max von Velsen scanned the archive material. The live version was prepared by Digital Design Köln. Stichting Prime, Groningen and Institut für Neue Musik, HdK Berlin sponsored the making of the project. Wolfgang Vieweg was the recording engineer. Marc Sabat and Peter Sabat realised the audio, computer, MIDI, and video production of the film.
Special thanks go to Willem de Vries in Amsterdam, who uncovered the theft of Wanda Landowska's library and instrument collection, and to Denise Restout of the Wandowska Center in Connecticut, who provided the photographs.
