Rob, thank you for your report!
I have also observed that the loco performance decreased since I implemented the
DCC protocol. However, I use Marklin-decoders only. Apparently I have to buy
other decoders in order to test the win-erddcd properly.
Today I have recorded the erddcd output with a fast AD-card. Maybe this will
help to improve the timing. When I have analyzed the ouput signal I might change
the timing intervals between the packets. However, you are invited to improve
the code yourself.
