Maureen E. Garde Home Page

This web site is devoted to collecting materials concerning legal actions involving Scientology, an organization which has a history of bringing lawsuits against its critics. Commencing in 1995, Scientology organizations sued internet users and providers under federal copyright laws, claiming infringement of copyrights on the works of Scientology founder L.Ron Hubbard. Those actions continued and expanded throughout 1996. The beginning of 1997 has seen much in the way of legal news concerning Scientology, including further developments in the cases related to the Internet both in the U.S. and internationally, as well as developments of importance in Greece, France, Italy and Germany.
