The following aspects will be addressed by the artists' contributions in this setting: the idea of living in a global culture, be available communication-neuroses, the bubble-economy, up-speeding, logoculture. Connecting the superfluity culture with the actual situation in our culture: stagnation, lethargy and being-superfluous.

Part 2

functions as a transitional space and can be seen as making the senses more acute (between Part 1 and Part 2).
The Berlin artist Catrin Otto will set up a large, low-sound space. This space, which partly absorbs noises, moves between feeling clinical or being a »place for thorough disorientation«. But from a curatorial point of view it is also a passage that makes the senses more acute for Part 3 and prepares people for the great silence.

Susanne Weirich is mounting a multi-media presentation in the neighbouring space and Marc Bauer will also show one of his works.

Part 3
In Part 3 the works become part of a black box. Here timelessness, poetry and visual beauty are to the fore. These spaces contrast starkly with the flood of images that characterize Part 1.
Part 3 can be seen as a kind of time-out space; it deals with spaces in which people can lose themselves, that stimulate concentration, that (are intended) to function as a mental filling station.
