Newsgroups: alt.religion.scientology Subject: Hello, I am here to help From: Ted Mayett Date: 27 Jul 1995 01:17:38 GMT first off i will not be posting anonymously. second i am going to work on busting this nut cult. third i have no time or patience for proper spelling or punctuation. fourth i'm just learning to post so i may commit some goofs. on 6/28/95 12:14pm vegas time i requested money back from celebrity center las vegas. 6/29/95 i opened an internet account. 6/30/ or so i decided to type in "scientology" in the net search dialog box. to see if anything was there. WOW!!! i had no idea. i just read and read and read. i gamble for a living so i work when i want to, basically. now then i had always suspected that something was wrong. but nothing like the facts i found presented. and i read and read. when i got on a.r.s. there were 14,000 + articles. i read at least 9,000 of them in one week along with god knows how many links. i had so many bookmarks that they were meaningless. of all the names i wanted to salute publicy only dennis comes to mind. and i tell you it's scary. to open myself to attack like this, to know that at any time men with guns might storm in to rape my home. and because i dare disagree with church of scientology. i salute all who are opposing scientology and i am here to help! i am learning to use newsgroups and will probably be putting in 8-10 hours a day into this. for people who are new or undecided about cos let me say this. the facts presented here of criminality on an international level and on a supreme court level are one thing. talk to me and i'll tell you what;s happening on the local level. you have no idea. you think that because you can turn on a computer and log into the internet you are too smart to be taken. WRONG, only fools are safe. whatever else this hubbard was the boy was good at pushing buttons. in my opinion the boy was an actual artist. i believe that a certain level of intelligence is required to be taken in by scien. if you have to go in and see it for youself then do not give your correct address or phone number. also have a few of your friends keep an eye on you, in case you find yourself becoming born again. on the local level the bulk of the staff are intelligent, bright and responsive. at least here in vegas. they talk fast, move fast and smile a lot. and the one thing they do better than anything else is LISTEN. and we all want to be heard. if you do go in be careful. end of my first post. thank you for reading. ted mayett ======== Newsgroups: alt.religion.scientology Subject: Re: Why do so many people in this group disagree with Scientology? Why? > > > I'm searching for answers, not tripe. > > Thank you. > i have dabbled in scientology for close to 15 years now, on and off. never had a problem with it. till i showed up when i was going through difficult times. in less than a year i had "donated" roughly $12,000.00 did the purification rundown, student hat, method one co-audit. i had payed for the bridge and some books and tapes with the 12k. the student hat mocks einstein, descartes, others. it's not logical. the purif is a vitamin, diet and excersise program that is way over priced. i did the purification at the las vegas org. it was filthy. so filthy that i purchased and administered my own vitamins. the twin i had ended up doing the same. the method one co-audit i felt was worth the price. the auditing process are silly. you'll see. a good scientologist is one who gets the parrot of the week award. i was never even nominated. there is no criticism or questioning allowed. this falls under the rule of no verbal tech. there is memorization required for spiritual freedom. as an example: a chart reads... -0.03 you cannot say negative point oh three and pass. you MUST say minus zero point zero three or you "flunk" if you become part of this you will be hit from every side you can think of for money. there is always a major event happening. you will be lied to as to the nature of the event at times so that you can be "reged"(hit for money) you can show up with empty pockets and no checkbook and be sure that someone will drive you to where you live. you will read for yourself that you are part of the most ethical group on the planet. just look at how we are attacked. you will hopefully read my posts. there is policy regarding money back. i am not asking them for a refund. i am only asking for the money i have not spent there. i have been asking for this money since 6/28/95. they have promised it to me on three different occassions the local org here has said that the mother church does not honor the contracts. now would i say this publicly, using my own name if it were not true? the total money involved is $5,200.00 they had promised me a thousand so i wouldn't picket. after three more days of them stalling i was handed $500.00 they have a dictionary for sale there that costs one hundred dollars my right hand to god the dictionary costs one hundred dollars. it has definitions in it that are outlawed by later hubbard policies. as a true scientologist you essentially endeavor to stamp out false tech. you are also required to pay one hundred dollars for a book containing false tech. i never could figure that one out. go if you must. but keep a sense of humor about you ted mayett and do be smarter than i was. pay as you go.
