With a tip of the Hatlo hat to LEGION, here's
a general-purpose stock spiel or formula
reading for the type of folks you run
into hereabouts, particularly on alt.magic.secrets,
but actually on most any realm of the Internet.

``I see you as about 30 - 40 years old.  You like
to think of yourself as intelligent, but unfortunately
you have never managed to attain your true potential.
You can't psych yourself into the competitive, motivated
frame of mind very often.  You prefer to sit in front of
the computer or the t.v., rather than deal with
mundane reality.  You tend to get upset over relatively
unimportant things, while shrugging off or postponing
your confrontations with major life obstacles.  You
don't find financial matters very interesting.
I see that you probably have or once had a beard, or
are thinking of growing one.  You have never been
satisfied with your appearance.  Your weight is higher
than it should be, but you don't think of yourself
as fat--- yet.  You feel very insecure around women,
even ones you find relatively unattractive.  You don't
feel able to reveal your `true self' to anyone, and
don't believe that you have any truly close friends.
You like to think that you have a keen sense of humor,
but frankly it rarely shows.  You tend to feel superior
to the general population, but especially at night
before dropping off to sleep you admit to yourself that
much of this attitude is a compensation for a
strong sense of inadequacy.  You read only sporadically,
never write letters--- except e-mail--- and when
you look back on a typical day you have to admit that
you wasted a great deal of your time.''

[Of course this doesn't apply to me at all. Well, most of
it doesn't apply.  Well, urr, some of it doesn't apply.
