In my situation THEY were the freeloader. But they apparently have double "standards" on this (as well as many other policies used for PR purposes). They SAID they would handle it, wanted to handle it or wanted to see to it that it was handled. But they ALL lied. Seeing (actually experiencing it) that DELIBERATE policy violation went all the way to the top, I could only conclude one thing: The Church has been taken over by suppressives. It did not look like it until I experienced it. And it's likely to not look like it to ANYONE who doesn't experience it. : Now if you, a member in good standing, couldn't find anyone in the : church who would handle your problem, what chance does a critic or : malcontent stand? None whatsoever, unless you have leverage (which I have none). So, the solution is for me to let them go like they are going and let them destroy themselves. I know enough to know that they will do that. They are basically good. Therefore they MUST NOT allow themselves to continually commit harmful acts. They will *arrange* for ethics to be put in on themselves. I don't have to do anything to make that happen. Unfortunately, they will damage other innocents on their way down their self-created dwindling spiral. But nothing that can't be repaired. I just got my new "Scientology News" in the mail, yesterday. Inside the front cover is "A Message From The Executive Director." A couple of sentences in the message: "Your progress is important to me and you always have an open comm line to me." Bald faced lie. He stopped answering my letters when they became missed withholds to his failure to deliver what HE promised in the letters I DID get from him earlier. And: "Above all, your contribution is *valuable* and is appreciated." He robowrote this same stuff in letters to me to make it seem like I had done a good thing and for assurance that I was not being ripped off. But if what I did was so valuable then why was it not valuable enough to get fair exchange for? And why did the pay non-Scientologists to do similar work and not pay me? I'll indicate my own bypassed change, thank you. I have no recourse. Others don't either. Despite what the PR says. So, I have to create my own recourse by concentrating on getting my own case handled (what I hired them to help me with) and disregard their "antics" and let them wallow in the mess they're making for themselves. I'm recovering regardless of no help from them. So they've devaluated their own importance. One way they have already lost is is losing me and that value and contribution I could have provided. Now I just provide it to people who deserve it - me included. I have no regrets. But I sure could use my pay! But it's over and I'm going forward. -Ken-
