New friend or Faithful Reader, Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of neither wealth nor taste. I was named Dennis Lance Erlich because my parents thought someday I might be important enough to adopt the moniker D. Lance. The last name, Erlich, is German for honest and sincere. My family comes from eastern and western european jews who emigrated it to the US early in the 20th century. I too am a jew. I was born in 1946 during a period of recent history called the "babyboom" which occurred just after the conclusion of the Second World War. The "Rev" part comes from when I was ordained, back in 1969, as a minister in the dangerous cult of scientology. I won't give away the whole story at this point, but suffice it to say that in 1977, the founder of the cult, L Ron Hubbard, personally appointed me to the post of Chief Cramming Officer of the Flag Land Base. If you don't know what a Cramming Officer is, you're in for a treat. "Flag" as it is called in the cult, is the ultra-expensive scientology brainwashing factory, in Clearwater, Florida. It is where I was held against my will in a basement for 10 days for making a joke. It is also where Lisa McPherson was "treated to death" with scientology's dangerous Introspection Rundown tech. After leaving the cult of scientology in 1982, I found God. It became my ministry to try and mitigate some of the suffering that fanatical, cult behavior causes to innocent, caring, idealistic, naive people. I have since tried to tell people only what I know intimately and have personally experienced: the inner workings of a dangerous, mind-controlling cult. I won't go into all the details of what has brought me to the point that the mere mention of my name makes the cult of scientology quake with fear (bwahaha!) and unleash torrents of vitriol and raw hatred directed at Your Humble Narrator. (YHN, for short) I have been called many things. According to my ex cult-masters, I am a pitiful soul indeed. But that is beside the point. The real point is all the information to which I could help you connect. Then you can decide for yourself. Consider me as your chef, serving up a buffet of very tasty information; because that is really how it should be presented. I do take requests and answer questions. So don't hesitated to email me. This site can put at your fingertips many resources relating to cults in general and to the very dangerous cult of scientology, specifically. The scientologists ("scienos," they were dubbed by former Executive Director International for Life, Bill Franks) are at this moment attempting to erode your First Amendment rights in order to keep the secrets of their fraudulent scam hidden. It is your tax dollars that support the scienos in their endless litigation to aimed at stifling free speech and criticism on the internet. I am also that person who first posted to the internet, back in 1994, the L. Ron Hubbard quotes about Xenu and the Body Thetans and "the man on the Cross ... there was no Christ." Those two bits of info used to be the most important hidden parts of the bait-and-switch, mind-control scam scientology perpetrates on the public. I'm that guy whose home was raided by scientologists in 1995. The 7-hour raid was allowed by a fraudulently obtained and clearly unconstitutional writ of seizure. It was carried out without any Federal Marshals present. The scienos and their armed rent-a-cops who arrested me in my home searched every cupboard, closet and drawer in the house. They copied and deleted whatever they wanted from of my hard drives, packed whatever they wanted of my possessions and without giving me a receipt, took everything and left. There is video of the raid on the net. It's very hard for me to watch. Perhaps you can get something out if it. I am currently in litigation with the cult, represented pro bono by the San Francisco lawfirm Morrison & Foerster (the Mighty MoFo) and we are preparing to go to trial on May 3rd, 1999, in San Jose Federal Court. A jury will determine the extent of scientology's damages against me. They will hear evidence of how the scienos conspired to violate my civil rights and deny me due process. We will detail how they fraudulently obtained an unconstitutional writ of seizure for the illegal search that they executed on February 13, 1995, under color of authority, which violated my right to privacy. BTW, since that raid, the scientologists have dropped their original claim that I misappropriated their Trade Secret "religious" documents. They also dropped their claims for punitive or compensatory (actual) damages. And within the last month they even attempted to back out of the statutory damage claims in order to avoid a jury trial. Now, apparently, all they really ever wanted was an injunction which orders me not to exceed my constitutionally guaranteed rights. Clearly they are backpedaling. Anyhow, I am very pleased that the inFormer Ministry has reached so many people, and especially that it has touched the lives of many who don't even know of me. Most sincerely, Rev.
