Newsgroups: alt.religion.scientology,alt.clearing.technology Subject: High School English Teacher calls Xenu story 'Unrealistic' From: xenu@ix.netcom.com(STEVEN FISHMAN ) Date: 28 Mar 1996 14:54:50 GMT Dear alt.religion.scientology, My daughter Elysia was asked to do a report on a mythological character for her creative writing class at Western High School in Fort Lauderdale, so when she told me about it, I suggested that she download OT III from any of the 104 Fishman Home Pages in Holland, and write about the Emperor Xenu. She did an excellent job, and even made up a poster board with a picture of two volcanoes, and body thetans being exploded in cluster-bombs, etc.. She put everything into her own words, (carefully not violating any illegitimate copyrights!) She got a good grade on the report, a B+, but her English teacher commented that the Xenu story was a little bit "unrealistic." Leaving Xenu in a fenced-in electronic mountaintop at the end of the fable was probably too much for any 9th grade teacher to swallow. She was undoubtedly expecting something from Greek mythology, not Scientology mythology. "Who would believe that kind of stuff?", she asked my daughter. "You'd be surprised!", Elysia answered.
