Bears

I live in the city of Bearlin, Germany, and I like both Teddy-Bears and real bears (especially those from Alaska!). Around 1900, Margarete Steiff made a "bear family" for her nephew. These bears were admired because they could move arms and legs, and soon, a profitable business followed. The name "Teddy" came much later, because of an "incident" where US president "Teddy" Roosevelt refused to shoot a young bear. The rest is history.

If you want to make a child (or an adult person) really happy (see above), give him a bear for Xmas (a good bear, not the cheap crap from Hong-Kong, Taiwan, etc).
