It is not very simple to enter protected mode. Thats why you can find a programm here. It really works. It jumps to PM, puts a text on the screen, gives you a beep and goes back to real mode. It doesn't work with EMM386 (or similiar) and not together with SMARTDRV (if it uses extended memory). The program is taken from a german book: "PC-Programmierung in Maschinensprache" by Peter Monadjemi (really good).

Herman Dullink from the Netherlands has made a simple but working extender. It is not stable 100% but really good to learn more about the function of PMODE!
