This album is phenomenal! All of the 14 self-penned songs contained on this CD are impeccably written, performed and recorded. Every track is worthy of release in it's own right. All are catchy, but the title track; 'Close To The Sun' had me reaching for the replay button several times. This band know the value of good, well thought out arrangements and memorable riffs. Other high spots include; 'Deep Swoon', 'Lone Star' and 'Space Fleet'. This is probably the best thing I've heard yet to have evolved from Rockabilly music. (Alan Wilson - Deathrow Magazine #38)
