E: The first email address (gmx) is an email server and an automatic mail
robot will answer you if necessary.

D: Die erste Email Adresse (gmx) ist ein Email Server und ein automatisches

E: Please note, that several Operating Systems are running at my system.
So take care to use plain US-ASCII (0-127) text or ISO-8859-1 Latin Code.

D: Bitte beachten, dass verschiedene Betriebssysteme bei mir gefahren
werden. Aus diesem Grund sollte nur ASCII Code (keine deutschen Umlaute)
verwendet werden oder ISO-8859-1 Latin Code (Umlaute moeglich).

You have to encode your files. You can use uuencode (DOS/Windows/UNIX/Linux)
or xxencode (UNIX/Linux) file formats. Please compress files before encoding:
use pkzip or arj for DOS/Windows, use compress for Unix/Linux or use GNU-Zip
for Linux.


*** 2.2 *** E: Sending compressed file by file attach.

From Fidonet via crash mail  --->   to Fidonet 2:2410/301.20
Please compress files (PKPZIP or ARJ preferred). Take a look to the new
Fidonet NODELIST file every week at Friday. If you don't have an updated
Nodelist, send Fido crash mail with the magic NODELIST to the QUADRIGA BBS +49-
(0)30-50378908 (V.34+ analog line) or +49-(0)30-50378909 (ISDN line), non
German callers don't have to dial (0). Operating hours of QUADRIGA are 00:00-
09:00, 12:00-23:00 CET local time, (CET=UTC-1, at DST CET=UTC-2).

Please compress files by pkzip for DOS/Windows, use compress for Unix/Linux or
use GNU-Zip for Linux and choose File Attach. Compressed files have to be *NOT*
encoded, cause they are valid MIME base-64 types. See for valid IANA-MIME-
Types in RFC document (e.g. a GIF file has a compressed file format itself,
it's also a valid MIME base-64 type, so additional compression is not
recommended, so attach a .GIF file direct).
