Atlantic City Magazine is a monthly, regional publication with a circulation of 45,000. We publish articles covering casino gaming, entertainment, recreation, lifestyle and history in Atlantic City and around the Jersey Shore/southern New Jersey area. Our readers are made up of a broad mix of area residents and visitors from around the world; therefore, all stories must be of interest to both audiences. This is not a news magazine; all articles should be fun to read and be written in a feature style. We do not publish fiction or poetry.

Writers are strongly urged to study one or two recent issues of the magazine before submitting queries. Sample copies are available for $4. If you have never written for us before, please enclose clippings of your published feature work with your story idea.

Articles generally run from 100 to 2,500 words. Manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, on white bond paper. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the original, and keep a copy for yourself. We are not responsible for unsolicited manuscripts.

Atlantic City Magazine buys first-time rights, unless other arrangements are specified. Payment ranges from $25 for a short piece in an upfront section to $500 for a full-length feature. We may purchase accompanying photographs if they are of exceptional quality, but we prefer to work with our own photographers. All payment is made upon publication.
