BLACKDEATH (Rus)

Plagueing the underground since 1998 this is BLACKDEATH’s first German infiltration. After 6 albums and split releases with bands like MORTIFERA, LEVIATHAN and HORNA you should have come across them some way or the other. Be prepared for a Bottomless Armageddon.

BLAZE OF PERDITION (Pol)

To continue our successful campaign with excellent Polish bands we are proud to announce that BLAZE OF PERDITION will invade the stage of Under The Black Sun in 2012. One of the most interesting bands today with total occult atmosphere. A good dose of furious blast beats is to be found from here but the band also knows how to slow down yet retaining the evil spirit within.

DODSFERD (Grc)

DODSFERD is one of the few bands that spit out their hatred towards mankind with every single fibre of their existence. For the first time in Germany they will cursing your will to live until your world goes down!

DRENGSKAPUR (Ger)

Some of you may have seen them live at UTBS 2009, some others on different stages around Europe in the past. Live and on their two albums DRENGSKAPUR takes Black Metal back to where the old, great Polish bands have left it about 10 years ago: great melodies and harsh vocals. Follow the path of darkness into their foggy realms.

DUSKEN (Ger)

DUSKEN should be already well known for their intoxicating live shows. Their excellent second album “Pyrimanes” brought them the attention they deserve and now it’s time for some new stuff to be presented live on stage at Under The Black Sun.

FORGOTTEN TOMB (Ita)

These suicide promoters from southern Europe don’t need an introduction. Coming from pure suicidal Black Metal in the early days they now have a more doomy sound with excellent guitar lines that will cut your head off.

FORTERESSE (Can)

After last years outstanding and impressive performance of MONARQUE we’re glad to announce another atmospheric act from Canada with FORTERESSE. Their songs about the cold landscape in their home will give you a freezing impression of what to come at UTBS.

INFERNAL EXECRATOR (Sgp)

With INFERNAL EXECRATOR we present your once again blasphemous & furious Black/Death Metal in the vein of IMPIETY, SURRENDER OF DIVINITY and others. Watch out for these spiked terrorists that will deliver nothing less than pure hatred!

ISVIND (Nor)

The legend is back! With a brand new album on the one hand and a new live lineup on the other, ISVIND will come back to Under The Black Sun after 8 years and some cold, freezing Norwegian wind is coming with them.

KAMPFAR (Nor)

With KAMPFAR we can add another band that has been active since the mid 90′s and now after 6 years returns to UTBS. They have become famous for their viking styled black metal and after 3 years of silence 2011 saw the return of KAMPFAR with their mind blowing album “Mare”. Now it’s time to see how these songs will be presented before a blood thirsty crowd.

KHAOS AEON (Ger)

KHAOS AEON instantly got a deal for their excellent debut album “Exitus” on a well known German underground label. Expect nothing less than esoteric luciferian worship the way it should be done. If you like your Black/Death the DISSECTION way than this is definately something for you!

NABAT (Ger)

NABAT is a “young” band from Berlin but consits of musicians who have been active since years in more or less know bands in Germany, Sicilia, Russia & Poland. Their militant Black Metal was manifested in their first demo “Opus Mortis” and live shows with Black Witchery, Vulcano, Gorgoroth, Belphegor, Angantyr etc. proove that you shouldn’t miss them!

NARGAROTH (Ger)

With NARGAROTH we can present you another German Black Metal veteran with one of their very rare shows on German territory. No matter if you like the music or not, there’s no one out there who haven’t heard them yet. So you are welcome to join us and be dead or satanic. Hunting season is on!

NIGHTBRINGER (Usa)

As most of you know NIGHTBRINGER were supposed to play at Under The Black Sun 2009 but had to cancel their attendance for reasons beyond their control. This time everything is set up to finally bring them to Europe for the first time! In the meantime they have released two more chaos prasing albums and gained new fans so this should be a unique event.

NO EMPATHY (Ger)

Here we have another excellent death worshipping band from Germany who have released their debut album “Rust” back in 2010. Going from Thrash/Black Metal in the beginning the band has now grown a more adult sound to praise the horned master.

SALACIOUS GODS (NL)

Formed in 1994 under the name Profanatica and quickly became known as one of the most extreme bands from the Netherlands SALACIOUS GODS lurked silent and observing in the underground for six years since their last album “Piene” in 2005. Now it’s a hellish pleasure to announce the first live gig since that time at UTBS 2012 and a new album called “Oalevluuk” which will be released soon on Folter Records. Hellforce Black Metal!

SARKOM (Nor)

Being active since 10 years now, SARKOM has become more than just another Norwegian “supergroup”. They are one of the few underground veterans with excellent cold Black Metal the old school way, self confident enough to try a different style and sound on their latest EP “Exit Terra”. They’re keeping faith in the darkness and will deliver a hellish show at UTBS 2012.

SUBVERTIO DEUS (UK)

With SUBVERTIO DEUS as headliner for our warmup show on thursday we can add one of the very few Black Metal bands from the United Kingdom at UTBS ever. Orthodox Black Metal worship at it’s finest. Come see the blinding light of a thousand (black) suns.

WAFFENTRÄGER LUZIFERS (Ger)

Already known in the German underground it’s time for WAFFENTRÄGER LUZIFERS to spread their satanic propaganda in front of a bigger audience and what better stage they could find then UTBS? These satanic terrorists will lead your way to a pure Black Metal holocaust with their blasphemic hymns for the horned one.
